Happy 10th Anniversary LOULOU!

Hi there!

My October issue of LOULOU arrived this week and I was so happy to look up at the top right corner of the cover and see a little yellow banner "All Canadian Sources"!

If that wasn't enough, the magazine is celebrating its 10th anniversary!

Whooo hooo!

LOULOU is a Canadian magazine that features fashions available in Canada, which is awesome because you know where to find great ready-to-wear runway inspired pieces. Another great thing about this mag is its diverse contributors and local features, pages dedicated to Canadian content. Not to mention the shopping events, there's one coming up in Winnipeg on October 17th. The magazine explores a lot of high end fashion trends and practical fashion as well, they've got a page dedicated to winter coats! (page 94, if you've got your copy)

Lima's Latest Inaugural Post

Hello Everyone!

My name is Jessica Lima, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself.
I love fashion and style, most of all design! I used to want to study Architecture in university but decided to study Art History and Film Studies instead.

After years of subscribing to fashion magazines I realized that there was not a lot of Canadian content in what I was consuming, so I'm launching this blog in an effort to research and discover design in Canada. I would like to make this a space to celebrate Canadian design, primarily focused on but not limited to fashion.
